History of the company
Crimson Tide, founded by Barrie Whipp in 1996, is a leading provider of business software solutions, on smartphone, on subscription.
In the earlier years, the heart of Crimson Tide’s business rested on the sale of crm, and its own bespoke crm, software solutions to a wide variety of clientele. It was in 2004 that the company established its mpro business software solutions service, and on 22nd August 2006 Crimson Tide plc (UK:TIDE) floated on the AiM market of the London stock exchange by way of a reverse takeover of A. Cohen & Co. Plc.
With offices in both Tunbridge Wells and Dublin, Crimson Tide’s mpro software solutions have subsequently become the core of the company’s main business.
The main core of our business
Crimson Tide’s mpro business software solutions mobilise the business practices of organisations, enhancing their levels of accuracy, efficiency, productivity and customer satisfaction, while also introducing cost-saving measures for the organisation, such as reduced admin, paper, post and fuel costs. They are ideal for organisations with a substantial proportion of mobile workers, however the solutions are not just confined to field based service personnel, but are also available for professionals, consultants and patients.
Each mpro solution includes the custom-made business software, the smartphone or pda, the cloud-hosted website, the scheduling, alerting and reporting capabilities of mpro, as well as installation and support – all on a subscription basis, per user, per month with no capital outlay.
No infrastructure is required, it can be up-and-running within weeks, our solutions integrate with most backend systems and since they are fully offline capable, all data is saved to the user’s device until coverage is restored, where data is then pushed out to the main server.
