Using an online scheduling system, customers allocate jobs to nurses or field workers in the pool.         
Jobs are synchronised to the nurse's handheld device. An example is the Motorola MC55 which acts as a handheld computer AND mobile phone.        
The nurse goes through processes on the device, capturing information about the patient. The device also validates settings (for example, blood pressure). Our systems also deal with blood tracking and drug administration, recording factors such as infusion details.        
           
The information is synchronised to an online database, using the mobile phone network (GPRS) , Wi-Fi or a cradle to a PC when back at base.         
           
Follow up calls can be scheduled for consultants or hospital based staff and reports and alerts are emailed to relevant staff.
