How it works

Each patient is given a smartphone, on to which our mpro patient care application has been installed. The application takes the patient through all the steps involved in their self-treatment, such as whether the medication matches their prescription, whether it is in date and which area of the body it should be administered to.

This is made possible by the fact that all prescriptions are labelled with a globally unique bar code ID number, which patients are instructed to scan during the course of their administration, using their smartphone.

Not only that, all of the patient’s data is automatically synchronised back to the main office where healthcare professionals are alerted with the results either by an email or a text.

In areas of little or no mobile coverage, data is saved to the device until the coverage is restored. It is then automatically pushed back out to the main server. No internal infrastructure is required and our solutions integrate with most backend systems.
